Homemade nut milk rocks. It’s dairy-free and chock-full of vitamins; plus, it tastes deelicious! Below is our favorite nut milk variation with macadamias, honey and fresh vanilla bean. Try it as a tasty refreshment on its own or use with oatmeal, cereal, smoothies and more.
Ingredients & Essentials
1-1/2 cups of raw macadamias soaked overnight
4 cups of water
1 tablespoon of raw honey or 3 soaked dates
1 fresh vanilla bean halved and scooped out
1. Mix soaked nuts and water in a high-speed blender
2. Strain the milk with a collander and cheesecloth
3. Blend the milk again adding the vanilla bean and honey or dates
4. Strain again, serve, and consume within three days
