Blueberry Blast-Off

Blueberry Blast-Off

This morning concoction will get your motor running like no other smoothie!  The piece de resistance is the coffee ice cubes – you can leave those out if you don’t drink coffee but it really is what gives this smoothie it’s name.  Here we go:

1 handful of frozen blueberries

1 frozen banana

1 handful of unsweetened coconut

1 heaping spoonful of almond butter

Your favorite Protein Powder

1 tbs of cacao (unsweetened)

Almond milk or other nut milk

4 or 5 coffee ice cubes

Toss it all in your blender with a little bit of nut milk.  Blend on low and add enough milk to make it the consistency you like.  I like it thick like a milkshake.  Enjoy!
