The other day I made my morning smoothie way too thick so I poured it into a bowl and ate it with a spoon. I perfected the recipe this morning and it was delicious. I felt satisfied but still light enough to go teach a vinyasa class. It’s filled with antioxidant-rich berries, omega filled chia seeds and probiotic packed Green Vibrance powder. Here’s how you make it:
1 frozen banana (frozen is best so the consistency is thick. Just throw one in the freezer every night).
2 cups organic frozen berries
1 heaping scoop of Green Vibrance powder (or a handful of greens)
1 big spoonful of chia seeds
Coconut or any other type of nut milk
Throw all the ingredients into your Vitamix except the milk. Blend on a low speed and pour in almond milk slowly so that you get a nice thick consistency, like a milkshake or an acai bowl.
Serve in a bowl with unsweetened coconut, more organic berries and chopped up pecans or walnuts.
