Jon began yoga in a teacher training in 2001. The practice began to quell his mind’s desires and addictions to pain and suffering. “I initially had no clue that the physical body or my spirit was going to be something I could fall in love with.” Through a daily practice and much guidance, the links between breath, mind, body and unique spirit gave him a heightened sense of the importance of love on all levels…for the individual self and all beings surrounding it. Yoga has become a big part of every aspect of his life and has allowed him to remain a thriving, productive being within the world. It is his passion to give all his knowledge to those that seek so that he may inspire them on their own path to their own unique truth within the collective whole. “What our world is creating in the physical space is an example of what our intellect and spirits are capable of sustaining in all realms.”
Jonathan brings a special and unique voice to his classes that he has refined over his many years of teaching yoga. He has trained with some of our greatest contemporary yoga teachers such as Ana Forrest and Annie Carpenter. He has an incredible gift to infuse what he has learned from his trainings into his own authentic and powerful teaching style. You will hear subtle alignment cues that you have never heard before, making a your practice a whole new experience.
