Say hello to my new addiction.

In the last week I’ve had one every evening before bed and I feel amazing!  There are many benefits to goat products (cheese, milk, yogurt) vs. cow’s milk:  It’s easier to digest because the fat molecules are smaller, doesn’t produce mucus, and is more nourishing.  Coconut butter contains the flesh of the coconut, not just the oil.  It contains many essential amino acids and is a raw saturated fat containing mostly medium-chain fatty acids which the body can metabolize efficiently and convert into energy quickly.  Coconut butter contains no cholesterol and does not elevate bad (LDL) cholesterol levels.  By weight, coconut butter has less caleries than any other fat source.  Figs are an extraordinarily good source of dietary fiber, natural sugars, iron, calcium, and potassium.  They are known to lower high blood pressure and aid in weight management.  Maple syrup contains manganese and zinc, natural antioxidents which are good for your immune system, reproductive systems and helps prevent damage to the heart.  Raspberries are high in ellagic acid, a phenolic compound that may help inhibit the growth of cancer cells. They also have a natural sun protection factor.  Raspberries contains strong antioxidants such as Vitamin C, quercetin and gallic acid.

Give it a try and let us know what you think!
