Carolina and Amanda have taken their signature Buddhi Flow class and added ankle and hand weights for an extra punch. FlowLIFT classes seamlessly combine yoga with weights, so you get the best of both worlds in half the time. This form of light resistance training integrates fun movements with yoga postures practiced at a steady pace for an added cardiovascular component. In just 45 minutes you will tone up, stretch out, and get your mind ready for the rest of your day.
What to Expect From Online Yoga Classes with Weights
We have a sample FlowLIFT class here at yourBuddhi, but the rest of our workout classes can be found on FlowLIFTfitness.com. You can access them by signing up for the Dual Membership. Our new online yoga with weights class begins with a few minutes of centering and breathing to create a solid foundation. Expect to break a sweat and get a full body workout. High energy tunes fuel you through challenging combination moves and heart-pumping cardio flows. Get challenged in a while new way with a mix of sun salutes, vinyasas, strength drills, yoga poses, cardio bursts, core strengthening flows, and tons of booty and ab work. We recommend purchasing 1 to 3.5 pound ankle weights and you can interchange a light and heavier dumbbell depending on the exercise. Class ends with a few stretches and a final relaxation.
Am I Ready for Online Yoga Classes with Weights
You might be wondering if you’re ready for classes that combine vinyasa flows with strength training. We recommend that you have some experience with yoga classes, but the most important prerequisite is to stay connected to your breath while keeping the ego stuff in check. Almost anyone can take FlowLIFT classes, and if you’re consistent, you will see big improvements. The way the classes are filmed gives you an up close demonstration so you can see the movements and follow along easily.
