This one hour all levels vinyasa class creates both strength and flexibility in the hips and shoulders. Slower moving than most vinyasa yoga, the rhythm of your breath will be much fuller and deeper than in other faster-moving classes. Jon's painstaking attention to detail will have you completely absorbed in your practice, bringing about a profound state of presence and a deep sense of relaxation. Practice this class often to experience common poses such as plank, lunges and warrior 2 in an entirely new way. Wake up areas of the body that you may not have accessed in a long time. Enjoy a long savasana at the end of class.
Jonathon Old-Rowe is one of Buddhi Yoga's most experienced and beloved instructors. Teaching since 2001, he has taken several yoga teacher trainings from the Bay area to Thailand. His background is diverse and has helped to shape him into the incredible teacher that he is. In the last few years he studied with Ana Forrest and Annie Carpenter, two teachers who have greatly inspired his current style. His detailed alignment cues are guided with close attention to the breath. He has the unique ability to make a pose you've practiced hundreds of times feel like you've never done it before with subtle shifts in attention and micro movements in the body.
